I should have mentioned this weeks ago, but my blogging time has been limited and will continue to be for the next months. Anyway, I am happy to announce the Hip Hop album of the year has landed. Phill Most Chill has finally dropped his debut album of all unreleased late 80’s gems from his vaults. I’m not gonna rant on about how dope this is because it just simply is…..even PMC did the artwork!! ….. My advice to you is to just buy it if you see it. Big up to Shaker and the good peoples over at  DWG for making this happen.

I am slowly making progress on my Hip-Hop wants list. This one has been on there for years, a month ago I finally gave in and paid a decent amount for a near mint copy on the bay. Back To The Hip Hop is the tune for me on this 12″. I remembering hearing this all the time way back in 94/95 on the late night Gettin’ Hectic show on RTR FM and even recorded it to cassette to rock on the walkman. Obtaining the 12″ way back then was so difficult (all the copies went to the local dj’s) & it pretty much sold out when it came in stock (and wasn’t repressed). Sadly the bronx crew, The Troubleneck Brothers were signed to Tommy Boy’s subsidairy StepSun Music and their album never officially came out.
