Eveson – Hotwax / State Of Mind

 

Alex Eveson‘s new inprint Channel 82 deserves a warm reception!!

Channel 82 is a fresh concept based around the fusion of art, music and creative thinking, with a music policy loosely based around Dub, Jazz and Soul influenced, ‘break centric’ grooves. 

 

 The 1st release is something that featured on my Mature Sound series a while ago, but I still think it sounds fresh. Appropriately a double A side release, expect a deep atmospheric apache roller with a lovely Aaliyah vocal that is titled Hotwax.   On the other side Redeyes joins Eveson for the scorpio driven, jazzed out number called State Of Mind. 

Eveson also did the artwork, which will be limited to the first pressing of the full release. Turn on and chill out to Channel 82.
